Dear students
The Dead Dea is a lake in Palestine, and it's the lowest point on Earth and it has alot of salts which used for farm chimicals and medical purposes.Unfortunutly it faces the problem of being shrunk as water is being taken from the Jordan River that feeds it.
Can you think of a solution for this problem?

The passive voice
Dear student
Passive voice is used when we focus on action more than who or what is performing the action
Form of passive
Subject+verb be+past participle
when rewriting active into passive note tge following
.the object of the active sentence becomes the subject of the passive sentence
.the verb is changed into (be+pastparticiple)
.The subject of the active aentence becomes the object of the passive sentence (or dropped)
Examples of passive
Present simple
active They plant olive trees in the field.
passive Olive trees are planted in the field.
Past simple
They planted olive trees in the field
Olive trees were planted in the field
Now please change the following into passive
Ann sends emails to her friends.
